Connexion Browser

OCLC Connexion browser makes OCLC cataloging available by way of its Web interface. The Connexion browser is utilized like any Web site through a standard browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.

This interface provides all the advantages inherent in a Web view: It is easy to learn, navigate and use. Browser-based functionality ensures that you're always using the latest version; no software updates are required.

Some Connexion functionality is available only from the browser version. These are:

Dublin Core format for creating, editing, and exporting bibliographic records.
Access to WebDewey and Abridged WebDewey.
Access to the CatExpress option for copy cataloging.
Access to Pathfinders and Digital Archive functionality.
Access to interactive Local Holdings Maintenance.

NOTE; Some Connexion functionality, such as macros, offline cataloging, batch processing, and cataloging using Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Cyrillic, Greek, Thai, and Tamil scripts, is available only in the Windows-based Connexion client.
