OCLC WorldCat Collection Analysis Enhancements: New Graphing Capabilities and New Limit by Call Number
OCLC is pleased to announce the following enhancements to WorldCat Collection Analysis.
- You can now graph your analysis results by column (in addition to graphing by row). This makes it easier to graph data across multiple criteria (e.g., holdings in a publication date range by subject; holdings by subject in a particular format).
- You can now limit your analysis by LC, Dewey, or NLM call number. This allows you to quickly drill down to the most granular level of the Conspectus that contains the call number you are interested in.
Column Graphing
To see a visual representation of your analysis results, simply click on the graph icon above the column data you would like to graph.
Limiting by Call Number
No matter what analysis you are running (My Library, WorldCat Comparison, ILL Analysis, Peer Comparison, etc.), you can search by a particular call number by clicking on the Limit Analysis button and typing your call number of interest. Then click Run Analysis. Your results are instantly limited to the most granular level of the Conspectus that contains your call number.
