Librarian Resource Centers: Oxford University Press, Project Muse, H.W. Wilson, LexisNexis

Many publishers have resource centers for librarians that include promotional materials like logos for web sites, quick-use guides, title lists and search strategies.

  • Oxford University Press: At the OUP Librarian Resource Center, you can download search utilities to allow Oxford Reference Online, the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, the Oxford English Dictionary Online, Grove Art Online and Grove Music Online to be searched from your web site, or download posters and flashing banners, at http://www.oup.com/online/librarians/ .
  • Project Muse: Get title lists, sign up for journal alerts or RSS feeds, download instructional handouts, find out how to access your usage statistics, and more at http://muse.jhu.edu/about/librarians/.
  • H. W. Wilson: Quick reference guides, tutorials, tip sheets, logos and a long list of tech help articles (as well as documentation for WilsonDisc) are available at the Wilson site: http://www.hwwilson.com/Documentation/techdoc1.htm.
  • LexisNexis: Logos, a press release template, instructional aids, content lists, and links to the LN statistics module are just a few of the helpful tools that can be found at: http://www.lexisnexis.com/academic/1univ/acad/subscriberResources.asp.
