In the News: Free Browser-based Citation Tool Zotero Coming Soon
MLA, APA, Chicago Style - who doesn't fondly remember trying to parse out the exact citation format for some esoteric source. Citation tools like EndNotes, RefWorks, and ProCite have stripped some of the mystique away from the art of building a bibliography, and a team from George Mason University's Center for History and New Media is now building a browser-based citation tool that will be able to pull citations from a web page with a click and store them on a user's computer. The source code will be available to developers and the application will run on any OS that can run Firefox.
