WorldCat-Impact of RLG Union Catalog

According to Lorcan Dempsey, OCLC’s Vice President of Research, the impact on WorldCat of the addition of the RLG Union Catalog was that 52 million records were processed as part of the load. Forty-one million, seven-hundred thousand records were matched to existing WorldCat records. There was a net add to WorldCat of 8 million records.
