Basic BIOSIS – New Date for Discontinuation on OCLC FirstSearch

Previously scheduled to end on December 31, 2007, access to the Basic BIOSIS database on the OCLC FirstSearch service will now continue through June 30, 2008. This change is due to a schedule change from Thomson Scientific, producer of Basic BIOSIS. Libraries with subscriptions to Basic BIOSIS as well as FirstSearch per-search users may continue to search the database through June 30, 2008.
